Store terms
Terms and Conditions
These Terms govern your access to and use of the My Quiet Timber website, online store, products, content, and related services.
1. Eligibility
“My Quiet Timber,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the My Quiet Timber store. “You” and “your” refer to the customer or website visitor.
By accessing the website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Shipping, Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy. Do not use the website or place an order if you do not agree.
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where you live to place an order independently. A person under the age of legal majority may use the website only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
You represent that information provided during checkout is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
2. Our Store
My Quiet Timber offers curated outdoor lifestyle products. Our goal is to provide clear product information and thoughtfully selected goods. Inclusion of a product does not mean it is appropriate for every person, environment, or activity.
- Apparel, hats, and accessories.
- Hydration products, camp goods, and compact outdoor accessories.
- Small utility items and branded or made-to-order merchandise.
3. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to present accurate product descriptions, specifications, sizing, materials, colors, images, availability, and pricing.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, dimensions, size charts, care instructions, warnings, and compatibility information before ordering.
If we discover a material product-description error after an order is placed, we may contact you, offer a correction or substitute, or cancel and refund the affected item.
- Actual products may vary slightly because of screen and display settings, lighting and photography, manufacturing variations, material availability, product updates, supplier changes, and printing or embroidery differences.
4. Outdoor and Product Safety
Outdoor activities involve risks that cannot be completely eliminated. Customers are responsible for selecting products suitable for their intended use, following all warnings and instructions, checking products before use, and complying with applicable laws.
Compact tools, camp equipment, drinkware, apparel, and outdoor accessories must be used only for their intended purposes.
My Quiet Timber does not guarantee that a product will prevent injury, emergencies, exposure, equipment failure, or property damage.
- Our products are not a substitute for proper outdoor training, emergency planning, medical advice, professional safety equipment, navigation knowledge, weather awareness, manufacturer instructions, or personal judgment.
5. Availability
Products may be available in limited quantities and may be discontinued without notice. Some products are supplied, decorated, manufactured, or shipped by third-party providers, and availability may change after an order is submitted.
Adding an item to a cart does not reserve it. An order is not accepted until payment is authorized and we issue an order confirmation.
6. Prices and Currency
Unless clearly stated otherwise, all prices are displayed and charged in United States dollars.
Prices may change without notice. A price change will not affect an order already accepted, except when correcting an obvious pricing or technical error.
Customers are responsible for taxes and charges applied to their orders as permitted by law.
- Displayed prices may not include sales tax, shipping charges, delivery surcharges, customs charges, or other fees disclosed during checkout.
7. Orders and Acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products. We may limit quantities purchased per person, household, account, payment method, or shipping address.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue a refund for the canceled amount to the original payment method.
- We may accept, reject, limit, or cancel an order because of product unavailability, incorrect pricing, suspected fraud, payment failure, shipping restrictions, incorrect customer information, supplier limitations, violation of these Terms, suspected unauthorized resale, or technical or inventory errors.
8. Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe or another authorized payment provider. We do not directly store complete payment-card numbers.
A payment authorization does not guarantee order acceptance. A pending authorization may remain visible temporarily if an order is canceled or rejected. Release timing is controlled by the customer’s financial institution.
- By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method, authorize the payment provider to charge the total displayed at checkout, authorize reasonable fraud and identity checks, and agree to provide accurate billing information.
9. Shipping and Fulfillment
Shipping destinations, estimated processing times, delivery estimates, and available shipping rates are described in our Shipping, Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy and during checkout.
Some products may be produced or shipped by different suppliers. An order containing multiple products may arrive in separate packages and on different dates.
Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. Carrier delays, severe weather, emergencies, supplier disruptions, address errors, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
10. Returns, Refunds, Exchanges, and Cancellations
Returns, refunds, exchanges, damaged-product claims, and cancellation requests are governed by our Shipping, Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
Made-to-order, customized, personalized, used, worn, washed, clearance, final-sale, and hygiene-sensitive items may be subject to return restrictions.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
11. Promotions and Discounts
Promotions, discount codes, giveaways, and special offers may be subject to additional conditions. The specific terms presented with a promotion control if they conflict with this general section.
- Unless stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined, discounts have no cash value or retroactive application, promotional availability may be limited, returned items may reduce or eliminate a promotional discount, and promotions affected by fraud, abuse, or technical errors may be canceled.
12. Customer Accounts
If customer accounts are offered, you are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping login credentials confidential, restricting access to your account, notifying us of suspected unauthorized access, and activities conducted through your account.
We may suspend or close accounts that are fraudulent, abusive, inactive, insecure, or used in violation of these Terms.
13. Customer Communications
By placing an order, you agree to receive transactional communications concerning payment, order confirmation, fulfillment, shipping, delivery, customer service, returns or refunds, security, or policy changes.
Marketing communications are optional and may be unsubscribed from at any time.
14. Reviews and Submitted Content
If you submit a review, photograph, comment, testimonial, suggestion, or other content, you represent that you own it or have permission to submit it; it is accurate to the best of your knowledge; it does not violate another person’s rights; it is not unlawful, threatening, deceptive, or abusive; and it does not contain malware or unauthorized advertising.
You grant My Quiet Timber a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, format, and distribute submitted content for operating, improving, and promoting the business. This license does not transfer ownership of your original content.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or is unrelated, fraudulent, offensive, or misleading.
15. Intellectual Property
The website and its content—including branding, logos, product photography, graphics, written copy, layouts, icons, collections, and original designs—are owned by or licensed to My Quiet Timber and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the website only for personal, noncommercial shopping and informational purposes. Purchasing a physical product does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property displayed on that product.
- Without written permission, you may not copy or republish website content, use our trademarks or branding, resell or commercially exploit website content, scrape or harvest website data, reproduce product photography, create derivative branding, remove ownership notices, or misrepresent an affiliation with My Quiet Timber.
16. Prohibited Conduct
We may restrict access, cancel orders, or report activity when prohibited conduct is suspected.
- You may not violate a law or regulation, commit fraud, submit false payment or identity information, interfere with website security, introduce malware, test stolen or unauthorized payment cards, scrape information without permission, harass customers or service providers, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, circumvent purchasing limits, resell products misleadingly or without authorization, or use automated systems that place unreasonable demands on the website.
17. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may use or link to services operated by third parties, including payment processors, shipping carriers, social-media platforms, analytics providers, and supplier websites.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. My Quiet Timber is not responsible for their independent availability, security, privacy practices, accuracy, or conduct.
18. Manufacturer Information and Warranties
Certain products may include warranties, instructions, or guarantees provided by a manufacturer or supplier. Manufacturer warranties are governed by the applicable manufacturer’s terms.
My Quiet Timber does not independently expand a manufacturer warranty unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. Customers should retain order confirmations, packaging, care information, and manufacturer instructions.
19. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.
Products remain subject to warranties and consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
- We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free, every product will remain available, website content will always be free from minor errors, products will be suitable for every activity or individual, or a product will produce a particular outdoor, safety, or performance result.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Quiet Timber and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the website, product misuse, outdoor activities, loss of data or profits, supplier or carrier delays, third-party services, unauthorized account access, or reliance on general website content.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability related to a product or order will not exceed the amount paid for the product or order giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify My Quiet Timber from claims, losses, or expenses caused by your unlawful use of the website, material violation of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, submitted content, or intentional misuse of a product.
This section does not apply where prohibited by law.
22. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays and fulfill or refund affected orders when appropriate.
- These events may include severe weather, natural disasters, fire, carrier interruption, supplier disruption, labor disputes, government action, power or internet failure, cyberattack, public emergency, war or civil disturbance, and shortages of materials or transportation.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Applicable federal law and nonwaivable consumer protections continue to apply.
Before filing a formal claim, customers are encouraged to contact us so we have a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our products, website, suppliers, payment systems, or legal obligations.
Updated Terms will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
25. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The affected provision will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted by law.
26. No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
27. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping, Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy, and any product-specific terms presented during checkout, form the agreement between you and My Quiet Timber concerning website use and purchases.
